Press Release - Sentencing of Matthew Lubrano

March 17, 2017
     Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of Matthew Lubrano, who appeared before the Honorable William J. McGovern III, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on March 17, 2017.

     Lubrano, age 26 of Sparta, NJ, was sentenced to three (3) years of probation.  Lubrano was also ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $2,100 and mandatory fines and fees.

     Lubrano pled guilty on February 14, 2017 to Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card, a third degree crime.

     On May 3, 2016, Lubrano was arrested for theft after taking his girlfriend’s bank card to make ATM withdrawals from her bank account without her permission.

     Lubrano was represented by Leanne Healy, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Stephanie C. LaCarrubba.
