Press Release - Sentencing of Joseph Kaegi

     Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of Joseph Kaegi, who appeared before the Honorable Stuart A. Minkowitz, A.J.S.C. at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on April 6, 2017.

Joseph Kaegi, age 31, of Wantage, was sentenced to five years’ probation, obtain/maintain employment, drug monitoring and psychiatric evaluation/treatment plus fines and fees. Kaegi was given 2 days jail credit.

     He pled guilty on January 10, 2017, to Unlawful Possession of a Weapon (a second degree crime) and Theft of a Weapon (a third degree crime).

     Defendant was represented by Robert Baer, Esq. and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Laura L. Nazzaro.
