Press Release - Plea of Kori Bodle

     Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the entry of a guilty plea to an accusation before the Honorable William J. McGovern III, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on May 30, 2017, by Kori Bodle.
     Bodle, age 27 of Ogdensburg, pled guilty to Theft by Deception, a third degree crime, and to Failure to Turnover a Controlled Dangerous Substance, a disorderly persons offense.  Sentencing is presently anticipated for June 14, 2017.
     In pleading guilty, the defendant admitted to cashing checks in an amount greater than $500, knowing that the checks were not good and negotiable.
     The case was investigated by Ptl. Geene of the Ogdensburg Police Department.
     Bodle was represented by Steven Insley, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Donald F. Cox, Jr.
