Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of Roger Kelly, who appeared before the Honorable Thomas J. Critchley, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on October 4, 2019.
Kelly, age 70, of Hamburg, New Jersey, was sentenced to 18 months’ Probation with 9 days’ credit for time served and ordered to follow recommendations; enter TASC program evaluation and perform 50 hours of community service. The Defendant shall pay fines/fees totaling $1,995.00
Kelly pled guilty on September 5, 2019, to one count of Defrauding Administration of Drug Testing (a third degree offense), and Conspiracy to Possess a Controlled Dangerous Substance (a third degree offense).
Roger Kelly was represented by Jeffrey Patti, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Brent Rafuse.
