Press Release - Sentencing of Leonard H. Clary

Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of Leonard H. Clary, who appeared before the Honorable Thomas J. Critchley, Jr., J.S.C. at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on November 1, 2019.
Clary, age 24 of Clementon, NJ, was sentenced to two years probation. He must also perform 40 hours of community service and pay mandatory fines and fees.
He pled guilty on September 16, 2019 to Theft, a third degree crime. Clary admitted to stealing used car batteries from the Walmart in Hampton Township.
Clary was represented by Bruce Farrier, Esq. and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Rachelle Jones.
