Press Release - Plea of Alessandro A. D’Agostaro

PRESS RELEASE

 

August 31, 2020

     Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the entry of a guilty plea to an accusation before the Honorable Louis S. Sceusi, J.S.C. at the Sussex County Virtual Courtroom in Newton on August 31, 2020 by Alessandro A. D’Agostaro.

     D’Agostaro pled guilty to Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, a crime of the fourth degree.  Sentencing is presently scheduled for October 15, 2020 before the Honorable Louis S. Sceusi, J.S.C.                          

     In April, Sparta Police were responding to a dispute involving Mr. D’Agostaro and he was found to be in possession of a Swiss Army knife.  Defendant admitted that he possessed the weapon without any lawful purpose.

     D’Agostaro was represented by Jacqueline O’Donnell, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Brent M. Rafuse.
