     Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of Jose Marrero, who appeared before the Honorable Louis S. Sceusi, J.S.C. at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on October 29, 2020.

 

     Jose Marrero, age 45, of Middletown, New York, was sentenced to a one (1) year concurrent term of probation, comply with the standard probationary conditions and pay fines and fees. 

 

     He pled guilty on September 18, 2020, to one count of Theft (a Third Degree Crime), one count of Criminal Trespass (a Disorderly Persons offense) and one count of Criminal Mischief (a Disorderly Persons offense).

 

     Defendant was represented by Shaun Russell, Esq. and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Laura L. Nazzaro.
