Press Release - Sentencing of Erikson Polanco-Ramos

     Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of Erikson Polanco-Ramos, who appeared before the Honorable Louis S. Sceusi, J.S.C. at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on December 1, 2020.
     Oquendo Pizarro, age 37 of Paterson, was sentenced to four (4) years New Jersey State Prison, concurrent on all charges.  He received credit of 399 days served and ordered to pay court fines and fees.  He was also ordered to have no contact with the victims and their businesses and to testify truthfully against the co-defendants, if necessary.
He pled guilty on September 18, 2020 to four (4) counts of Burglary, a third degree crime, and four (4) counts of Theft, a third degree crime.
     These cases were investigated by Trooper Hendrix, Trooper Encarnacion, Trooper Pall, Trooper McGrath, Det. Jacinto and Det. Erny of the New Jersey State Police Department.
     Oquendo Pizarro was represented by Shaun Russell, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Laura L. Nazzaro.
