Press Release - Sentencing of Jason Preziosi

Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of Jason Preziosi, who appeared before the Honorable Louis S. Sceusi, J.S.C. at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on December 1, 2020.
Preziosi, age 50 of Paterson, was sentenced to three (3) years probation and 180 days incarceration to be served starting December 1, 2022, concurrent on all charges. He received credit of two (2) days served and was ordered to pay court fines and fees.
He pled guilty on February 11, 2020 to one (1) counts of Possession of Controlled Dangerous Substance, a third degree crime, and one (1) count of Abuse and Neglect of a Child, a fourth degree crime.
These cases were investigated by Trooper Clifford of the New Jersey State Police Department.
Preziosi was represented by Shaun Russell, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Laura L. Nazzaro.
