Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of Daniel Gulick, who appeared before the Honorable Louis S. Sceusi, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on December 10, 2020.
Gulick, age 52 of Lehighton, Pennsylvania, was sentenced to 12 months of probation. He was ordered to submit a DNA sample and pay fines and fees totaling $294.00.
He pled guilty on October 27, 2020, to Certain Persons Not to Possess a Weapon, a fourth degree crime, and the motor vehicle offense of speeding.
The defendant was speeding in Stanhope Borough on August 15, 2020, and was in possession of a night stick while having been previously convicted of the crime of Manufacture, Transport, Disposition and Defacement of Weapons.
Gulick was represented by Jeffrey S. Katz, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Donald F. Cox, Jr.
