Press Release - Sentencing of Chasitie Ammacher

Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of Chasitie Ammacher, who appeared before the Honorable Louis S. Sceusi, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on December 3, 2020.
Ammacher, age 24 of Franklin, was sentenced to two years of probation. She was ordered to submit to a TASC evaluation and follow any and all recommendations made from same, provide a DNA sample, perform ten days of community service work and pay fines and fees totaling $1,060.00.
She pled guilty on August 17, 2020, to Unlawful Possession of Prescription Legend Drugs, a fourth degree crime, and Shoplifting, a disorderly persons offense.
On June 11, 2020, the defendant was in possession of Trazadone tablets without a prescription and took items from the Franklin Walmart without making payment.
Chasitie Ammacher was represented by Thomas F. Militano, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Donald F. Cox, Jr.
