Sussex County Opens No Cost COVID-19 Testing Clinics
Thursdays Beginning January 21, 2021
Sussex County has contracted with Zufall Health Center to conduct weekly COVID-19 testing clinics at no cost to residents.
Zufall will be rotating the clinics between three (3) locations in Sussex County. The first day of testing will take place January 21 at the Sussex County Fairgrounds in Augusta. Testing scheduled on Thursday, January 28 will be administered at 5 West Shore Trail in Sparta.
Walk-ins are permitted however it is recommended that you link directly to Zufall's scheduler to set up your appointment.
Testing is scheduled for Thursday, January 21 at the Sussex County Fairgrounds beginning at 10 a.m. Simply follow signs for testing when you arrive at the Fairgrounds. Make sure that you do not line up with cars awaiting vaccinations.
You are not required to have a physician's prescription to participate in the COVID testing.
The program is provided for the uninsured and under-insured residents of Sussex County. Zufall has teamed up with Labcorp for processing. Labcorp will bill your health insurance provider. Any amount not covered by your insurance provider will be paid for through Sussex County.
