Press Release - Plea of Michele Moran
PRESS RELEASE
February 3, 2021
Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the entry of a guilty plea to an accusation before the Honorable Louis S. Sceusi, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on February 3, 2021, by Michele Moran.
Moran, age 48 of Pequannock, pled guilty to Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, a third degree crime. Sentencing is presently anticipated for March 11, 2021.
In pleading guilty, the defendant admitted to being in possession of heroin and alprazolam in Vernon on September 1, 2020.
The case was investigated by Ptl. Joseph Roccasanta of the Vernon Township Police Department.
Moran was represented by Robert Biagiotti, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Donald F. Cox, Jr.
