Press Release - Plea of Matthew R. Marzullo.

PRESS RELEASE

July 8, 2021

     Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the entry of a guilty plea to an accusation before the Honorable Louis S. Sceusi, J.S.C. at the Sussex County Virtual Courtroom in Newton on July 7, 2021 by Matthew R. Marzullo.

     Marzullo, age 21, of Hopatcong, pled guilty to Endangering the Welfare of a Child – Distribution of Child Pornography, a crime of the second degree.  Sentencing is presently scheduled for September 9, 2021 before the Honorable Louis S. Sceusi, J.S.C.                          

     The defendant admitted to possessing and distributing child pornography. 

     Marzullo was represented by Shepard Kays, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Brent M. Rafuse.
