Press Release - Sentencing of Blaise Wiget

Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of Blaise Wiget, who appeared before the Honorable Michael C. Gaus, J.S.C. at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on October 8, 2021.
Blaise Wiget, age 32, of Succasunna, NJ, was sentenced to three (3) years New Jersey State Prison for one (1) count of Burglary, one (1) count of Theft and one (1) count of possession of a controlled and dangerous substance which all occurred in Franklin Borough, NJ on February 6, 2021. The sentence was ordered to run concurrent to a Morris County, NJ sentence. Additionally, Mr. Wiget was given 243 days of jail credit, ordered to pay all fines and fees and restitution in the amount of $9,701.00.
He pled guilty on May 4, 2021, one (1) count of Burglary, one (1) count of Theft and one (1) count of possession of a controlled and dangerous substance.
Defendant was represented by Thomas Militano, Esq. and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Laura L. Nazzaro.
