Press Release - Plea of Robert Barrale-Decker

Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the entry of guilty pleas to accusations before the Honorable Thomas J. Critchley, Jr., J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on December 23, 2019, by Robert Barrale-Decker.
Barrale-Decker, age 25 of Vernon, pled guilty to two counts of Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, a third degree crime. Sentencing is presently anticipated for January 30, 2020.
In pleading guilty, the defendant admitted to being in possession of heroin on August 28, 2019, and October 29, 2019, in Vernon.
The cases were investigated by Patrolman John Gales and Patrolman Matt Hackett of the Vernon Township Police Department.
Barrale-Decker was represented by Shaun Morgan Russell, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Donald F. Cox, Jr.
