Press Release - Plea of Josue Jimenez-Guillen

     Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the entry of a guilty plea to an accusation before the Honorable Louis S. Sceusi, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on January 27, 2020, by Josue Jimenez-Guillen.
     Jimenez-Guillen, age 21 of Netcong, pled guilty to Joyriding, a fourth degree crime.  Sentencing is presently anticipated for March 6, 2020.
     In pleading guilty, the defendant admitted to taking an individual’s motor vehicle without consent on November 7, 2019, in Stanhope. 
     The case was investigated by Detective Joseph Johnson and officers of the Stanhope Borough Police Department.
     Jimenez-Guillen was represented by Thomas Militano, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Donald F. Cox, Jr.
