Press Release - Sentencing of Eric Bailey
PRESS RELEASE

Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of Eric Bailey d/b/a Green Associates and Green Associates Group, Inc., who appeared before the Honorable Michael C. Gaus, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on December 2, 2021.
Bailey, age 45 of Texas, was sentenced to one year of probation. He was ordered to provide a DNA sample and pay restitution in the amount of $19,959.71. If restitution is paid within seven days, probation will be terminated.
He pled guilty on June 7, 2021, to Theft by Deception, a fourth degree crime.
The defendant obtained property and/or services from eight Sussex County businesses and individuals between June 2007 and December 2007 by creating the false impression that checks drawn on his accounts were negotiable.
Bailey was represented by Matthew Young, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Donald F. Cox, Jr.
