Press Release - Plea of Monica Hidalgo-Beltran
PRESS RELEASE

Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the entry of a guilty plea to an indictment before the Honorable Michael C. Gaus, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on January 12, 2022, by Monica Hidalgo-Beltran.
Hidalgo-Beltran, age 33 of Green Township, pled guilty to Assault by Auto, a fourth degree crime. Sentencing is presently anticipated for March 10, 2022.
In pleading guilty, the defendant admitted that on January 16, 2016, in Stanhope, she recklessly drove a vehicle while under the influence and caused bodily injury to an individual.
The case was investigated by Sgt. Charles Zweigle of the Stanhope Police Department.
Hidalgo-Beltran was represented by Martin Morrison, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Donald F. Cox, Jr.
