Newton, New Jersey – Building on the success of its DigitalLearn grant program, the Sussex County Library System (SCLS) is excited to introduce a new series of technology workshops this fall: Tech Topics.

Each Tech Topics session offers a 30-minute introduction to a specific digital tool or skill, followed by 30 minutes of open Q&A with a librarian. The format is designed to be approachable, practical, and responsive to participants’ needs.

“Technology can feel overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to be,” said Louisa Bann, Head of Adult Services. “These workshops are all about keeping things simple and giving people a comfortable space to learn and ask questions.”

The program launched in September with Gmail Basics and Microsoft Word Basics at the Main Library in Frankford. In October, SCLS will bring Gmail and Google Docs to the Sussex-Wantage Branch, with more topics to follow throughout the fall and winter.

Workshops are free and open to all. Space is limited; registration is required.

To learn more about upcoming sessions or to register, visit sussexcountylibrary.org or ask at your local branch.
